On Friday 29th May the Australian Interior Design Awards (AIDA) hosted a virtual Facebook Live presentation to announce the winners of this year’s program. The socially-distant awards brought the community together in an entirely new way and we were delighted to have two projects recognised with Commendations in the illustrious program.
In the incredibly competitive Hospitality Design category, which had 46 shortlisted projects vying for an accolade, our Japanese influenced Eazy Peazy project received a Commendation. The project considers the need for venues to adapt from day to night, while also aesthetically showcasing a true Melbourne and Japanese fusion.
From a pool of 29 shortlisted projects, Norton Rose Fulbright Sydney received a Commendation in the Workplace Design category. The project is defined by its sensory journey and considerations for fostering collaboration.
The Australian Interior Design Awards are backed by the Design Institute of Australia, the professional governing body representing Australian professionals, and supported by Architecture Media.
