Carr is thrilled to have three projects shortlisted for the 2024 Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) – a program celebrating the best of Australian interior and product design.
IDEA is Australia’s largest independent design awards program. Launched in 2003, the program celebrates the best of Australian interior and product design across 18 categories.
Coastal Compound, nominated in the popular Residential Single category, is a family compound in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula designed by rest and play. Being a coastal location, Coastal Compound features an earthy tone like the nearby beach.
We also have two projects shortlisted in the Workplace Over 1000 sqm category, which are Aesop Australian Headquarters, and Salta Properties Head Office.
Restrained and graceful, the new Aesop Australian headquarters and nearby laboratory of Aesop appear effortless in their purpose and personality.
Demonstrating an admiration for craftsmanship and a sense of locality, the new head office for Salta is a warm and inviting space that celebrates the conviviality of a distinguished business that places people first.
Winners are selected by a jury of leading design professionals and will be announced at the IDEA Gala in November.
