After reviewing hundreds of submissions from around the Asia Pacific region, the judging panel has selected the Design Anthology Awards 2024 finalists with 116 Rokeby crowned the winner in the Commercial Spaces category. This win marks Carr’s second consecutive year winning this respective category.

With 19 winners across the People, Places and Products categories, the Design Anthology Awards celebrates and showcases design in the Asia Pacific and is an established authority across the region. This year’s Design Anthology Awards saw hundreds of submissions from around the Asia Pacific, with an esteemed judging panel overseeing and selecting the winners.

The Commercial Spaces category recognises excellence in architecture and interior design and the realisation of projects such as offices and co-working spaces. Completed earlier this year, 116 Rokeby is a commercial building set within the evolving pocket of Collingwood and takes cues from the fragmented industrial palette of the area with a rigorous approach to sustainability.

The developer – Figurehead – is both the client and builder. Through their passion for longevity in design innovation and sustainability, the project is robust in form and materiality while being imbued with extensive environmental passive measures.

116 Rokeby has a deeply holistic approach to design, sustainability and performance. “We have a forward-thinking client that believes in innovative design and architecture. One that understands the tremendous values and impact that sustainability can have on how tenants will feel in the space,” says Director Stephen McGarry.

The annual Design Anthology Awards is run by the publication Design Anthology,  a luxury interiors, design, architecture and urban living magazine, with editions in Asia and Australia, and a global digital platform.
