Catherine’s promotion reflects her significant contribution to Carr’s commercial interiors portfolio. Beginning her design journey in 2010, Catherine has forged a career in Australia and abroad that successfully pushes design boundaries and fosters long-lasting relationships.

As Associate Director, Catherine hopes to bring a strong focus on crafting human-centred and responsible design outcomes across our projects. “Commercial design has become more diverse and varied than ever before. This is an exciting time for us to use our principles of timeless design and add value to all typologies and clients,” she shares.

When describing what quality design means to her, Catherine says, “Quality design means design that speaks to its users and addresses their unique needs. It’s design that is good for the planet, good for people and lasting in nature.”

On the appointment, Director Stephen McGarry shares, “The elevation of Catherine to Associate Director is in recognition of her enormous contribution to the commercial interiors sector of Carr’s portfolio. Having successfully delivered Russell Kennedy and Merricks Capital this year, and with a series of large and small-scale endeavours in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland underway, Catherine continues to design and lead complex and innovative projects with the team.”
